This is a load of horse shit

No, THIS is a load of horse shit. We collected a carload (that's dedication) of well-rotted manure from Simon and Claire. Karen now has a place to put all of the plants we brought from the last place. Sunny and warm on George Hill today!

We  hope that if we keep this pile covered for a year or so we will have a huge pile of fine compost. I'll report on that in 2011...

The shed has landed

Tom came back for the weekend of shed moving. We had to take it apart, make a new foundation perched on top of the retaing wall behind the house, renew the roof felt and put it all back together. Our very helpful neighbour Mark was essential is getting the roof on. Finished in one day! Tom built some steps the next day. Progress!
